The traditional process of restoring damaged teeth involves several visits spread over at least two weeks.

With CEREC™ 3D Technology, Dr. Kenny Chan and Dr. Shirley Cheong at Yonge & Steeles Dental Care, can give you a complete ceramic crown or restoration made from a high-quality ceramic material that matches the natural color of other teeth, done in one visit lasting about two hours.

Using the CEREC™ camera we take a 3D image of the tooth which needs to be restored. Using CAD software we create the exact design of the new tooth. It's all done on the CEREC™ computer, there are no messy impressions. We then match the tooth colour of the replacement to your teeth and place a blank in the milling machine. In no time the replacement tooth has been created and is ready to be installed in the mouth.

A ceramic tooth-coloured restoration means no more silver fillings discolouring smiles. The restoration is natural-looking, compatible with tissue in the mouth, anti-abrasive and plaque-resistant. CEREC Crowns are very durable and the technology has been proven to be precise, safe and effective.
