Dr. Shirley Cheong, BDS (Hons.), FLVI

Dr. Shirley is a Fellow of the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies and has a strong interest in Aesthetic Dentistry and Neuromuscular Occlusion.

Dr. Shirley studied Dentistry and graduated from the University of Hong Kong in 1988 with First Class Honours. In 1993 she received her National Dental Examining Board Certificate of Canada and set up practice in North York. Her passion in dentistry motivates her to continuously strive for excellence.

In 2002, she founded Yonge & Steeles Dental Care outside of Centerpoint Mall. Yonge & Steeles Dental Care has established an excellent reputation of being the one of the top practices in Toronto with the latest computerized equipment and friendly team. She provides comprehensive full mouth dentistry including cosmetic smile makeover, implant dentistry, full mouth reconstruction and orthodontics.

Dr. Kenny Chan, BDS, FRACDS

Dr. Kenny Chan graduated from the University of Hong Kong in 1988 and has been a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons since 1991. In 1994 he came to Toronto and passed the National Dental Examination Board of Canada which allowed him to practice dentistry in Canada.

His choice to practice General Dentistry comes from a desire to provide his patients with a full range of dental services. According to Dr. Kenny, it is much more difficult to be a well rounded, general dentist than a specialist. Dr. Kenny loves learning, especially in the field of dentistry. Over the years he has taken a lot of continuing education courses which enable him to provide services at a specialist level to his patients. He believes in open and honest communication with his patients and regards himself as a guardian of his patients’ lifelong dental health.

In his spare time he enjoys every moment with his wife and son Derek. He is an active member in St. Agnes Tsao Catholic Church serving parishioners.
